Dr. Smith has over 21 years of administrative experience in planning and evaluation, institutional research and student affairs. Her current research, teaching, and publications have been in the areas of organizational implications of diversity, assessment and evaluation, leadership and change, governance, student affairs, adult development, and the impact of women’s colleges and other special purpose institutions.

Brown bag on understanding governance reform

Dr. Liudvika Leisyte will discuss issues related to higher education governance and reform.

Dr. Leisyte is a research associate at the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies, Twente University, the Netherlands. Her research focuses on higher education, research policy and organizational change with a particular focus on European higher education. She is the author of two monographs entitled Higher Education Governance in Lithuania since 1990 (2002) and University Governance and Academic Research (2007). Leisyte has co-authored chapters in the books and articles on European higher education reforms.
